ChrisTV Online! FREE Edition is an Internet TV app for Windows. The application presents a compilation of links to TV channels and broadband channels, along with web cameras and other types of streams. The developer of this application really worked hard and you can tell. Most of these applications have tons of channels that are dead or that only show recorded content over and over again. ChrisTV Online! FREE Edition has tons and tons of channels, and most of them work and are live. It even has a few Sopcast channels that you can play, if you have the SopFilter installed.

All the channels are played in a video window within the application. The channels are grouped by country by default, but you can group them by category, station type, language and name. You can all choose what type of streams you want to show, which is a good feature to avoid watching recorded streams.

The player can be set to full-screen, although most of the channels are of such a low quality that full-screen playback is useless. The full version of this app can record video from any channel.

In my testing, most channels worked and buffered quite fast. A few of them required constant buffering, but most played without any buffering at all. When a channel disconnected, the application attempted to reconnect automatically.
