Clean Your Infected PC With Emsisoft Emergency Kit

The Emsisoft Emergency Kit contains a collection of programs that can be used to scan and clean infected computers for malware.It is portable and you can run it directly from your USB flash drive or from your computer’s hard drive.So there is no need to   install it.

This Emergency Kit consists of 4 components:

1.Emsisoft Emergency Kit Scanner

• With the Emsisoft Emergency Kit Scanner you  can scan the infected PC for Viruses, Trojans, Spyware, Adware, Worms, Dialers, Key loggers and other malign programs. If any Malware found , you  can be moved  it to quarantine  and  finally deleted.

2.Emsisoft Commandline Scanner

• Almost same  functionality as the Emergency Kit Scanner but doesnt have  a graphical user interface. The command line tool is made for professional users and can be used perfectly for batch jobs.

To run the Emsisoft Command line Scanner- Open a command prompt window (Run: cmd.exe). Switch to the drive of the USB Stick (e.g.: f:) and then to the folder of the executable files (e.g.: cd run). Run the scanner by typing: a2cmd.exe

3.Emsisoft HiJackFree

• With HiJackFree you can manage all active processes, services, drivers, autoruns, open ports, hosts file entries and many more which  helps  the advanced users to detect and remove Malware manually.

4.Emsisoft BlitzBlank

• Malware infections are not always easy to clean up.It is almost impossible to delete a Malware file while Windows is running ,because most of them are  protect themselves from being deleted. BlitzBlank deletes files, Registry entries and drivers at boot time before Windows and all other programs are loaded.

Clean up Your Facebook Profile with FaceWash

Whether your Facebook Profile  flooding with vulgarities  or embarrassing pictures and postings that  you shouldnt have liked? Now here is  a way to clean them up.
The FaceWash app will search through comments posted on your wall or remarks left on photos youve been tagged in, as well as photos youve posted, links and pictures youve liked, status updates, and pages of which you are a "fan."

To use FaceWash, Facebook users  have to visit , Facewa.sh, click "Get Started" and log into their Facebook account if they arent logged in already.The user will be prompted to click "Go to App" and then give the app permission to access the users content.

You can also search for a term and if FaceWash finds a match, itll show it to the user and link the posts so the user can easily delete  status updates, photo captions, and comments users left or received as well as pages and links that were liked.

The three students built FaceWash in less than two days – Gur, Camden Fullmer and David Steinberg. Since launching on Sunday, FaceWash has received more than 20,000 unique visitors.Its still in beta phase so users may encounter minor glitches.
